Incorrect Date Display in Tree Engine with Two Date Fields

Hi,

I’ve observed an incorrect date display in the Tree Engine in my own workspace, but couldn’t understand the cause. After setting up a dedicated test workspace, I can consistently reproduce the same issue. I’m wondering if this is a modeling mistake on my part, or potentially a bug in the engine.

Setup:

  • There is an n-m relationship between Location and Employee with link fields StartDate and EndDate.
  • In the (SelectedItems) Overview Engine, both dates are shown correctly.
  • In the Tree Engine, however, both StartDate and EndDate are displayed with the same value, even though the uploaded test document contains two distinct dates.
  • I verified that the values in the database and in the server response are correct – it’s only the UI display in the Tree Engine that’s wrong.

I’ve created a test workspace but can’t upload it because it’s a zip file. I’d appreciate it if someone experienced with this topic could take a look and let me know whether this is a modeling issue or a bug, and how to resolve it. I can send the zip file via WebEx.

I’ve just adapted the advanced workspace and I can reproduce this issue. I’ll create a bug and post the ticket number here shortly.
