Hide Clear button (X) in the autocomplete widget

Hi,

how can the clear button () be hidden from the autocomplete widget? I have found no (clean) way to configure this from the outside. It seems to be hardcoded into the widget.

Unfortunately, Widgets doesn’t support toggling the visibility of the clear button. Could you create an overall A12 ticket so we can address it?
