Experiences integrating a (server side) spell checker into A12

We have a requirement to integrate a spell checker into the client (for all text input fields).

Are there any projects that integrated a third party library (with a permissive OpenSource license) and can recommend it?

This has to support user-specific extensions to the dictionary.
