I just created a topic for test purposes - https://discourse.geta12.com/t/test-for-creating-a-tag/80?u=abrieg. This isn’t needed anymore. However I’m unable to delete it.
Should a user be able to delete his own topics? Maybe unless there are replies to it? Or should we have a playground or sandbox availble for people to learn discosure usage?
Can you see Delete Topic on the right side of your topic?
Click on it then you should delete your own topic.
Unfortunately, we don’t have any other instance for Discourse. We just use this instance then learn from it.
Yes, I see that button. But I get the following message when trying to do this:
This is default configured by the platform to avoid people create some topics then it’s in homepage then delete it. Then only way we can avoid to delete a topic is we don’t create some topic which we don’t want. Or you have to be a moderator or admin to delete topic.
Please flag your topic in case you don’t want it display I will take care of deleting it.
