Print-engine-runtime RPC operation CALCULATE_PDF_BY_DOCUMENT does not exist anymore

Hello,

we are updating from A12 202206.5.0 to 202206.8.0 and the print-engine-core is no longer developed. Through the print-model-editor-electron-windows-app we found out that the print-engine-runtime 0.202206001.1 is now used but the documented RPC operation CALCULATE_PDF_BY_DOCUMENT does not exist anymore and the documentation is felt to be outdated.

So is there any dependency missing, configuration or how do I make it with print-engine-runtime 0.202206001.1 that I get a PDF document created with this RPC operation CALCULATE_PDF_BY_DOCUMENT?

Hello Steve,

the 0.202206001.1 Version of the Print Engine is as the Version Indiactes a Major Release that integrates the new Architecture from the PrintEngine. There is no Migration Path available for the Backend or Feature of the Editor. Migration is provided for Models only.

Please be aware that there are many more undocumented breaking changes within the Breaking Release between 0.202206000.16 and 0.202206001.1. Projects are not advised or expected to migrate between these Versions without consulting with the Print-Engine Team as 0.202206001.1 is a complete overhaul of the print-engine. The 0.202206001.1 Architecture employs the Long Term Public API for the Print Engine and which is featured in every following Version. The LTS Architecture is the basis for the first Major Release 1.0.0 in A122023.10 which Marks the final Transition of the Print Engine into A12 as a full Product. We are currently heavily working on Documentation und QA for this.
