Use case

We have a document with a house number (string). We would like to sort it like 2, not 1 in the Overview-Engine.

1: 1, 12c, 12A, 14, 4, 40, 99
2: 1, 4, 12A, 12c, 14, 40, 99

Criteria

  • Sorting is case insensitive.
  • Sorting respects leading number.

Hi @stefan-cold-haze ,

in 2025.06 DS will provide case-insensitive sorting with new Query API, We also plan to support custom collation for creation of custom sorting specs but so far there were no requirements in this area. Please create an A12 requirement ticket and we can take a look at it.
