How to go back to search result where I left off in documentation at getA12?

I want to look up something within the documentation at getA12.com. When I use the search I am presented with a list of results in a modal. Often times when I click on one result I find out that it was not the correct one I looked for. Then I want to go back to the search where I left off and look into one of the following results.

How can I go back to the search where I left off?

Currently I alsways need to start a new search and scroll down to where I was because the modal is gone forever after clicking a result.

There is no way to navigate directly into the search, as we don’t persist the search in the URL. However, the search results are simple links, so the only recommendation I can give is to open the results in a new tab if you are unsure.
