I have a document model with 2 locales: the short “de” and the long “de_DE”.
When defining a print model based on this document model, there is a “Locale” setting in the header. But whatever I set here, the “Listing” component of my print model will always give the fields labels from the short “de” locale.
Is there a way to have the Print Engine use the long “de_DE” locale?
We are currently use the locale: Locale.GERMAN for each print in the preview. This locale can only be changed after the print engine is integrated. Then the locale: Locale.GERMANY can be set during the PrintJob configuration.
The locale in the print model header doesn’t have any impact on the print itself.
I confirm that I could make it work. Thanks for the input.
Nevertheless, are there plans to be able to configure and use a locale for the preview? Because the current solution means we can’t preview our models correctly if they use any locale other than the short GERMAN locale.
Should I create an A12 ticket for the preview?
In future it is planned that the local is configurable for the preview. There is already a ticket.
Ok, thanks. Would you please set me as a watcher? or give me the number?
Hi @marieestelle-firm-summit, I think the ticket for this is A12-15727.
