Field selection in Print Editor does not work

Heyho,

we updated our a12 version to 2024.ext4 recently. We used the in SME integrated Print Editor and got following problem:

We can’t select a field. Furthermore the error message “Please select a model” is still there.

PS: Furthermore remove the Description is not possible although there is no hint, that this is required (*)

Hello,

I checked the problem and found out that it exists because of missing labels for enumeration values in the referenced Document Models. After I checked each Enumeration and set the labels, the functionality in the Print Editor is working again.

We analyzed and fixed a similar problem in another ticket (PE: Opening a second hide condition leads to no response of the PE).
With the fix of the overall issue, this problem will be fixed too.

The fix will be released with 2025.06
