Document Models: Default Values for Fields - Current state?

Hi. We have a case where a default value for a Field in a A12 Document Model would help.

There was a discussion in 2018 and a discarded requirement for this (A12-10432).

What is the current state of discussion for this feature?

Hi. I can answer this by myself: There is another open requirement ticket (A12-13865) from 10-2022. It seems to be still in discussion.
