We have a requirement to change the default keepAliveTimeout for the MailConfig used by the (Vert.x) MailClient provided by A12 WF.
Looking at the MailConfiguration class it doesn’t look like this property can be configured through A12. Am I right?
Are there any workarounds possible?
You’re right, it cannot currently be configured.
All workarounds would be ugly. But we can deliver this in a non-breaking way. I created A12WF-1048 and A12WF-1049 to bring it to both the 2022.06 and 2023.02 release lines.
UPDATE: As we discussed, we’ll deliver it in 2023.06 and backport only to 2023.02, not to 2022.06.

While you are at it, I think it might make sense to expose all possible properties (not just keepAliveTimeout) so that they can be customized by a project
We released this feature (configuration of keepAliveTimeout) in version 9.1.0.
